  • Available on the Centrum 100 is Opus Axis a 462,636 sq ft distribution warehouse.  Agents  Jones Lang LaSalle,GVA Grimley and North Rae Sanders.

  • Work has commenced on a new distribution hub for PalletFORCE on Centrum West.  The 360,000 sq ft unit is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year

  • Barton 150 a 150,000 sq ft industrial unit on Centre 38 is now available.  A further 58,800 sq ft - part of a new high quality distribution unit also available, Agents are Atisreal. 

  • The first office units of the Granary Wharf development, at the junction of Wharf Road and Wetmore Road are now completed and occupied, while construction work continues on the remaining units. When complete the development will comprise of 25 office units.  Joint agents are Salloway and Gerald Eve.

  • The new 55,000 sq ft B & Q store and garden centre at the junction of Wellington Road and Shobnall Road is nearing completion.

  • The Waterstone’s 150,000 sq ft distribution centre on Centrum 100 is expected to be operational soon. Unipart Consumer Logistics will be managing the distribution operation on behalf of Waterstones.

  • As part of Burton College’s £5 million University Centre development, ten business start-up units are being offered to new enterprises.  Contact Burton College or agent Salloway for further details.

  • Plans to build the JCB £20m engineering and manufacturing academy has been approved by the council. The company will now have to wait to see if the scheme will be called in for a public enquiry by the Government’s Department of Communities and Local Government, who will make the final decision whether the scheme is approved or amended.

  • Work has recently started on fitting out the Dovefield Business centre in Uttoxeter.  Staffordshire County Council and Advantage West Midlands are funding the centre. The development will provide 20 small office suites and is scheduled to open in the summer.
